Hi friends,
One of the greatest joys in my creative life is translating the vast, ever-changing skies of the Midwest onto canvas. My process begins with quiet observation-whether it's a soft sunrise over golden fields or a dramatic thunderhead rolling across the plains. I sketch loosely, then layer oil paints to build depth, light, and emotion into each piece.
These skyscapes are my way of bottling the atmosphere and wonder of open air-meant to bring a sense of calm, awe, and place into your home.
